Hello,

 

Please, can you tell me how can I remove the printhead, for cleaning purpose, from the Multifunctional HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625 ?

I searched the whole Internet and i haven't found a solution.

The materials you had recommended do not present the procedure of printhead removal.
I searched the Internet and I found a material for printhead removal, but the procedure isn't useful for my printhead type: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01643079

 

I don't see the latch which should be lifted!

Hi, I'll just chime in here with details on the printhead. If there's no latch at the side then the printhead is not designed to be removed.....

Hi,
First of all, this printer has a non-removable printhead.
Why do you need to clean printhead? To resolve print quality issue?Cleaning of printhead for your model can be done via control panel.

From the user guide, cleaning of printhead as followed:

To clean the printhead from the control panel
1. Load Letter, A4, or Legal unused plain white paper into the main input tray. For
more information, see Load standard-size media.
2. From the Home screen, press the (Setup) button.
3. Using the buttons on the right, scroll to and select Tools, and then select Clean
Printhead.
Printhead maintenance 127
To clean the printhead from Toolbox (Windows)
1. Load Letter, A4, or Legal unused plain white paper into the main input tray. For
more information, see Load standard-size media.
2. Open Toolbox. For more information, see Open the Toolbox.
3. From the Device Services tab, click the icon to the left of Clean Printheads.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
To clean the printhead from HP Utility (Mac OS X)
1. Load Letter, A4, or Legal unused plain white paper into the main input tray. For
more information, see Load standard-size media.
2. Open HP Utility. For more information, see HP Utility (Mac OS X).
3. In the Information And Support section, click Clean Printheads.
4. Click Clean, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
To clean the printhead from the embedded web server (EWS)
1. Load Letter, A4, or Legal unused plain white paper into the main input tray. For
more information, see Load standard-size media.
2. Open the EWS. For more information, see To open the embedded web server.
3. Click the Tools tab, and then click Print Quality Toolbox in the Utilities section.
4. Click Clean Printhead and follow the onscreen instructions.

No, i would like to know how can i make a printhead "water clean" if it will be clogged and the control panel operations will not be enough ?

Although im an Keyocera an Ricoh certified tech i figured out how to remove printhead within seconds.This guy that that says he works for HP CLEARLY DOESNT KNOW  WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT.First of all you remove the scanning unit.afterwards you remove all the screws that holds the cover above printhead.A
