HP L7590 Officejet Pro all in one printer, which has a diminished flow of ink after a page or two

I have an HP L7590 Officejet Pro all in one printer, scanner, fax etc.  It has worked fine for 8500 printing tasks, but recently it seems that the ink flow is diminished after a page or two and the black and/or color is then full of empty lines and white lines.  Wait a couple of minutes and the first page or two will print fine again and then the lines start and soon the printer is presenting just a few lines of the scene or script.  I have taken the printheads out and cleaned them as per the HP manual and have run the "Clean Printheads" routine twice.  I have also replaced the cartridges even though the remaining ink levels were more than 1/2 full according to the ink levels shown on the control panel, to no avail.   Please let me know if there is some way to flush the little tubes leading from the cartridges to the printheads or if there is some other problem suspected.
