HP Officejet Pro L7780 Aii-in-one magenta ink not printing. Win XP op syst

The new  magentacartidge shows full and no error messages appear. Have any ideas for posslbe cause of cartridge not printing?  Thanks.

Hello Pet1Lady, 

 

 

  1. Press Setup  on the product control panel.
  2. Use the arrows ( ) to select Tools , and then press OK .
  3. Select Clean Printhead. 

 Now try printing, it should work.
