Exactly same issue!!!

Please don't tell me to follow your typical problem solving diretions.

I have already tried them as other people had done.

Pleae tell me honestly about the this problem and let me know solutions if you have.

Thank you for all your troubleshooting efforts! I see even after they have been completed you are still not, I would like you to let me know which Country/Region you are in as well as the current Warranty status of your PS 5514: Check your product warranty

I'm in New Jersey , USA and the warrenty was alreay passed.

Please just let me know if there is any way to fix this problem or not.

If not I have to buy another printer right away, definitly not HP.

I don't want to waste my time any more.

We are having the same issue. I have tried all the steps, new cartridges, cleaning...still no black ink. Any new ideas to help? We are a church and the printer has worked fine for our purposes before this.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! :smileyhappy: I see you are running into some print quality issues on your HP Photosmart 5514, you are unable to print in black ink after replacing the cartridge and cleaning.

 

I would like you to make sure all steps have been completed here: Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages, I understand you may have done some of these steps already but I need you to complete all steps in order to resolve the missing black issue you are experiencing.

 

Please note: There are three printhead cleaning stages. Complete all three stages if necessary. If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last (third) cleaning stage to start the first stage of the cleaning process over again.

 

If you are still unable to print in black ink, I suspect the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. Please let me know which Country/Region you are in as well as the product Warranty status: HP Warranty Checker

The numbers continue to grow...I too have installed a new black ink HP 564 cartridge and no black will print. I have read through the thread here and performed all of the trouble shooting tips listed. I am at a loss. Please advise. I am in Pennsylvania USA.

I tried to enter the info. Into the warranty checker & Im afraid it isn't telling me...I have the serial number from the sticker on the back, but the other numbers are listed as FPU NO. or Regulatory model no. Neither of them are working.
