All color cartridge print fine but my magenta doesn't seem to be print. I switched cartridges and the problem was not resolved. I have double checked the cartridge and printer and the magenta is still not printing. I am not getting any errors. What can be the problem?

Similar problem...
Used to print magazine-like pages. Tried an off-brand toner for magenta and yellow. The print was faded for those colors. Switched back to HP brand. Still prints very faded. The black and blue are fine. I've done the cleaning, restored defaults, re-installed drivers, and inspected/checked toners. Can't find any solutions on the HP website. Ideas? Help?

Have you calibrated your printer?
Here are other suggestions:
- Verify that the sealing tape has been completely removed from the print cartridges
- Use a different paper, such as high-quality paper that is intended for color laser printers.
- Verify that the device environment is within humidity specifications
- Ensure you are using HP Cartriges

Thank you for your response and ideas!
I've calibrated the printer many times. Have all new HP cartridges--sealing tapes completely removed. I'm using the same laser paper I've always used and was fine for the years prior to this problem. We live in a dry environment, so I've never checked the humidity specs.
My Black and Blue print correctly. Ever since I tried a cheap off brand yellow and magenta, those 2 colors are faded. I thought switching back to a new HP cartridge would resolve the problem, but they continue to be faded.
I've checked that I am not in draft mode. I've done the cleaning and maintenance several times over.
Any additional ideas? I appreciate your help.

One thing to try that may help members of the forum help work through the issue if it doesn't point directly to the problem:
Open the front door and remove the Yellow and Magenta cartridges. Then also remove a black or cyan cartridge.
Look at the cartridge for the metal contacts. Then look within the engine for the matching contacts and check to see if the Magenta and Yellow contacts are in the same position and shape as the black or cyan contacts.
These contacts provide the electricity required to transfer toner from the cartridge to the paper. It is possible that they may have been bent or moved out of position when the other cartridges were installed.

Good ideas.
I did take out all the toners and inspect the connections, inside the machine and the cartirdges.
Nothing seemed different, broken or bent.
Thanks.

There are a couple more things to try:
1) Open the front door and remove the Magenta and Cyan Cartridges. I had to remove all 4 to get a good look. Check the windows in the back of the engine, one for each cartridge. Does the bottom window look any different than the others? Is it blocked/covered by anything?
2) Check the electrical contacts along the left side of the belt. Make sure done are bent or broken as these provided power to the transfer rollers. Also check the contacts that are along the door that they match up too.
If the above two do not end up helping, my next recommendation is to contact HP technical support as they will need to determine if it is necessary to have the printer serviced.

Thanks again for your suggestions.
I checked everything you mentioned and it looks okay.
I think I will look into getting the printer serviced, as you suggested.
I appreciate your help.

Hi you all
I also have tried the steps above, but i have a twist. When i print the supply status page, The magenta magically prints but no other time.
