I’ve recently bought a hp 463xl black to my HP Photosmart 5510 B111a.
It’s the first time to me to buy the xl version, before that I always used the usual size.
When I installed the cartridge I found out that it does not work. Well there is no error message, and the print read it as a full ink cartridge. But when I use printer it just does not use the black ink.

Here is a link to a document that addresses blank ink missing on printouts for your model of printer. It will give one troubleshooting steps to try in correct that issue for both Mac and Windows operating systems. Please choose the correct operating system for your computer and then follow the directions offered to try and correct the issue that you are having with the printer's output. I hope that this helps. If you reach the end of the document and find that the issue persists, one is looke at product replacement.
If you are still in warranty, HP may replace the printer at no cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link will take you to a form to fill out.
