I keep getting this error message, driving me creazy, please help  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had exactly this problem.  Tried everything HP had to offer.  Then tried un-plugging the printer.  Presto!

tried that numerous times, will leave it unplugged all nite see what happens

Still did not work, will buy a new HP cartridge see if it works.  I HATE HP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER BUY HP !!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry pulling the plug didn't work for you.  I had just put a new cartridge in mine.  The trouble started right after that.  The message we were both getting was not listed in the trouble-shooting section of the manual.  I found HP Support to be totally useless.

did u buy a real hp cartridge or a generic??  Do not   update    your hp program on your computer.   that's when mine starting reconizing i had refilled my hp cartridge

I bought an HP cartridge.  I've had no more trouble.  Sorry unplugging didn't work for you.

I have filed a complaint against HP and Staples with the State Attorney Generals office as they do not disclose you have to buy their ink cartridges.  See what happens!!

Hi, have you tried cleaning the cartridge contacts?

I finally gave up and bought a new cartridge now it works.  However, now I'm trying to print my completed taxes and it only prints the last page and then spits out a blank page and that's all I get.  any ideas???  Thanks!!!
