I need to know what to do now...I installed a new black ink cartridge

I installed a new black cartridge but my printer is still showing it as being empty and it also is showing ! on it with a yellow light flashing and it won't print or scan -copy or anything, what am I doing wrong? I can not figure it out. Please help

Probably the light is flashing because of a cartridge error, and there is something wrong with the cartridge installation. It might be as easy as taking it out and reinstalling.

 

However, I can't tell you much more until you tell us what kind of printer you have! :smileyhappy:
