Ink Issues

My HP Deskjet F4400 Series 4480 has a brand new HP Black 60 and a brand new HP Colour 60 cartridge and won't print. It stopped printing black a while ago so I was only printing in colour. then I noticed the yellow light and the ink levels saying empty so I bought 2 new cartridges. it still won't print and I'm about ready to throw it out the window. I did everything including, cleaning the cartridges, resetting and uninstalling and reinstalling the device. I can buy a new printer for what it will cost to fix it. 

Before I do, does anyone have anything I haven't yet tried?

What are the two cartridges that you bought.Is it a Black and a tri color or both black?

Hi Mylucy

So, just to confirm you've followed all the troubleshooting outlined in the Print Quality document? (see link below)Can you get any printout at all with an Extended Self Test?
