I tried your hints for the 3210 HP but could not get to the System Config Menu.

The fix worked on my old HP photo smart 7150. I agree, this person should be HP CEO. Current one can't seem to figure it out

Thanks to the article by Raphael Nikolai on April 18, 2012 and Revised on May 6, 2012 at  http://www.out-of-warranty.com/fix-ink-system-failure-on-photosmarts-c6100-c7100-c7200-series-printe... .  Following the method cleared the Ink System Failure message  on my HP Photosmart C6150 all-in-one printer which prevented me to use copy, printing related functions.  Thanks, Raphael.

I tried this solution for my photosmart 3300 and it makes so much noise and kept showing the same error code on the screen instead of turning black. Then, when I let the buttons go, the screen displayed to avid damage to the printer shut down using on button. Do not unplug to shut down. It made more m=noises and finally shut down. Now, I am going to turn on to see what happens. But, am I doing something wrong?

I am so glad I ran across this solution. I have been trying to fix this for days with no luck.  Was getting ready to junk and and just go buy a new one.  You are a gem.
