Ink cartridge bought and has lasted approx 40 sheets.Will all ink cartridges I buy be like this one?

HP Deskjet 1050 All in One. In the middle of finals isn't the most opportune time for my printer to run out of ink. I can't afford to be buying ink every week or so

tell me about it, we are a support group, 61 pages from a colour cartridge, its terrible!

My HP Deskjet 3050 gives me about 45 copies and then it's out of ink...again. I think I'll buy my cartridges somewhere other than the HP store!

There's no way these things are out of ink that quickly. There is no doubt in my mind. I have run system test and head cleaning and it will print every color perfectly. Then it goes right back to telling me it has no ink and print like it is running out of ink. A month later, out of the blue it will print every color perfectly again on one paper and say it is out of ink again and print like it's out of ink.

I am outraged that HP hasn't recalled these printers. They know about it. I've seen a million complaints about the one I have. Mine is the All in one c410a premium. I've had it for a year and I'm getting no use out of it at all.

My daughter is a college freshman and has to email her assignments to herself and print them out at school. She had to do the same thing her Senior year.

I feel robbed.

I'm a student, and I can't believe how that 2050 and 3050 suck up ink. No way is it what they advertise. I've been running single cart. mode~doesn't matter~one week and it's dry. lame!
