Right. It worked. For now!  But, it will come back. Let me know in a few weeks, when that ugly printhead problem, rears it's ugly "head"!!  LOL

Yes. My husband has called HP support and was offered a new printer for $250 with a lifetime warranty. That is utterly ridiculous! Really, HP? Come on!!!  We get the new printer, we're out 250 bucks, the print head stops working, we send it in for a "new" refurbished printer, which, ultimately, will have a non-functioning print head, as well!! You see the pattern here?? It's a vicious cycle of sending in, receiving, sending in, receiving,. . . .a refurbished printer, that will never work correctly!! NEVER!!!

Same here.  I've had nothing but trouble with the new 6830 AND the refurbushed on taht they finally sent me.  I'm done with HP printers.
