Typically these lines are caused by print settings. If you do not have the correct paper type selected in the Printer Preferences option when printing, then the unit will not use the proper timing for printhead cycles across the page. If the drytime is not correct, then the movement of the printhead will generate the lines seen in this image.
Do you have the full feature software installed on your computer for this printer?
What is the Operating System of the computer you are using?
For print quality issues I would advise following the steps in the document linked below which will discuss having correct print settings for the job at hand. I would advise using settings such as: HP Photo Plus or the correct selection of photo paper, correct paper size for the image job, and Best quality for printing.
Hope this helps,
