Our Officejet Pro L7590 printer skips portions of lines after 1 or so pages even after new cartridge

Printer:  Officejet Pro L7590

HP Computer:  Pavilion p7-1026 with Windows 7 -64 bit

 

I receive no error messages, but the printer begins to print only portions of the lines after one or more pages.  even though the ink level was over half full for the black cartridge, I replaced the black cartridge with a new one, but the problem remains.  If I wait a minute or so, the printer will print another page and then start the weak lines with portions missing again on the second page.
