PSC 1410 slow print

Hello!

 

I've an HP AIO PSC 1410, as shown in the image above, and recently it has started to print very very slowly. A print may take almost an hour, if so and the output isn't the best. I have tried uninstall and reinstall the software, unplugged and replugged in the printer but nothing seems to work. 

Is there anything i could do to fix it?

Hi,

 

Check your cartridges, there a date on them that indicates warrenty time. If the cartridge date is expired it means an older cartridge. Older cartridges can run hot (thermal inksystem) and the printer will slow down printing to allow for cool time. In extreme cases this can mean taking an hour a page.
