Photosmart B110a cartridge error, out of warranty

Dear people,

 

in January 2011 I bought a Photosmart B110a printer. After a while the cartridges were empty, so I checked wich one are compatible, bought them, and replaced them. So far so good, printer was happy, I was happy.

But since a few weeks now, the only thing the printer can say is that the cartridges are incompatible, even when I've pulled them all out.

So I checked if I still had warranty, wich isn't the case (1 year only?! :smileysurprised: ) so I clicked on the HP site to repair it out of warranty. You then get some list from wich you can select your printer. But the B110a isn't to be found anyway.

Friends of me say it has something to do with the rail on wich the cartridges are, and that HP normally isn't very difficult to repair/replace it, but now I can't do anything.

 

Can somebody give me some tips on how to proceed now?
