I was printing out a picture, no problems with this printer before, and it printed out all blurry.I tried to print it again and the orange light blinks and it says : ! Print Cartridges, Refer to printer documentation" I took teh cartidges out and put them back in, turned the printer on and off, and cleaned the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer.Put them back in, still have an error message. My warranty is up because I've had this thing like 4 years so no direct help from hp I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Thank you!!!

If you've cleaned the cartridge contacts & carriage contacts I would suggest you purchase a new cartridge. if that works then you know the first cartridge has the issue. This can be replaced if it's still under warranty - check the warranty ends date on the cartridge as per link below
Please let me know how you get on

I am having the exact same problem I have done all of the above including replacing the cartridges and I am STILL getting the same message. Any other suggestions?

It was because I was using a recycled color cartridge. make sure you repace color and ink with genuine hp ink and run the alignment and all that. Thats what finally worked for me
