Printer cardridge is missing or deducted error

my printer C4388 is showing the error as cardridge missing or not deducted but i have cleaned my cardrdge and refilled

Hi

As you've cleaned the contacts the only other thing I'd suggest is resetting the printer (see solution one here )

 

It's possible that the refilled ink has damaged the cartridge (as the reliability of non-HP ink tends not to be as good)
