Had to change the yellow ink cartridge of a Photosmart 6510. Ordered a new cartridge from HP online. Installed the cartridge and received the message "old generation ink cartridge". Called HP, they sent out a new yellow ink cartridge, installed that one, same message, "old generation ink cartridge". Called HP, was disconnected after spelling my name at least three times, and giving my phone number four times, then going through the questions of whether or not I wanted to receive notices via email! Right now I want to dump this printer!!!

What was the product number of the replacement cartridge they sent you? Was it something like CB320?

Hi be81, is this issue now resolved? Did HP Support send you a cartridge that no longer gives this message?
