I am having a strange issue with my CP1215. The firmware and drivers are the most current and there are no issues with it executing print commands from any program, nor are ather any issues when customizing a print job's configuration (print both sides, fit to page, reverse order, etc.) The status monitor reports all cartridges being at least half-full and the troubleshooter detects no problems. I've verified that all settings are where they should be and have not changed anything since the last time I printed without the current problems.
The problem is with the colors not printing accurately when printing anything other than text. Greens are blueish, purple is bright red, yellow is correct, and red is correct. If I type the word Purple and change its color to purple, it prints exactly as it should as does every other color I've tried by printing them in a text situation. Also, the printed areas look like (for lack of a better example...) the color was applied with a sponge - if that makes any sense. Kind of splotchy.
Thank you for your help.
