Ever feel like the toner in the LaserJet is not going as far as it should? Well, that might be because of the other uses and services it provides to the printer that one might not be aware of. Here are some of those reasons below.
- The printer uses the toner as lubricant to reduce friction inside the printer for smaller moving parts.
- Toner can also decrease due the composite black (this is where color toner is uses to create black) being used to create a smooth image when printing in gray tones in images and graphs.
- There are even environmental factors to consider like very humid locations can cause a decrease in page yield from the toner cartridge.
