I have heard that HP uses a different type of ink than other printers..
Can I print transfers to heat press on fabric?
And print directly on fabric?

Hi - I didn't actually know anything about this, but I did a little searching on the site and found a couple of interesting articles:
Here's an article on using your printer to print on fabric: http://h71036.www7.hp.com/hho/us/en/ep/articles/pr
And here's one about printing iron-on transfers: http://h71036.www7.hp.com/hho/cache/344461-0-0-225
Here's HP's Home Printing Tips site with more articles: http://h71036.www7.hp.com/hho/cache/588217-0-0-225
Hope this helps - and thanks for the idea!

Thanks very much... I had heard that the ink in HP printers would not work on the transfers and fabric. I have always had HP printers and have had excellent service from them. I'm delighted to know that the ink will work!
Have a great day... (you just made mine!!)
