I replaced the no. 57 tri-color cartridge and the display showed 'Align Print Cartridges - Press OK to print Align Page'.
I pressed 'OK' and a page was fed and the printer made sounds like it was going to print, 'printing' was displayed and then it stopped and the same 'Align" message was displayed. I went thru this cycle several times and was never able to print an alignment page. I can't get rid of the message and as a result I can't use any of the other functions; scan, fax or copy. I can still print pages from the computer, however. Does anyone know how to reset or escape from this situation? Please help. Thanks.

I understand you are having troubles with your HP PSC 2410 Photosmart All-in-One Printer since replacing the tri color cartridge. Please use the following document to troubleshoot the issue, and let me know the outcome of your efforts; Error Message: Align Print Cartridges, Press OK to Print Align Page.

Thank you for responding. I stumbled on this solution myself before I saw your response and I thank you again.
What I had a problem with in HP's answer to my cry for help was that they offered to sell me another printer instead of querying other HP folks for an answer. I know my printer is no longer supported but past experiences would probably have suggested a solution. Thanks for 'listening'.
