I have a laserjet CP3505n printer. recently the printer has started to print a magenta colour 'wash', on every page that involves colour. I have replaced the magenta cartridge and new cartridge does the same!, I've put the 'faulty' cartridge into another 3505 and it works fine!.so it doesnt seem to be the toner cartridge
I have replaced the transfer belt and fuser unit ( from another working printer) with no change,
I have cleaned all the sensors ( i think!) and have performed several calibrations and 'cold' resets, all to no avail,
with the front door open and an 'over-ride' plugged in, i can watch the transfer belt whirl around during 'start-up' and calibration. but when the printer places the colored 'chevrons' onto the transfer belt (during calabration), it also places a full background of magenta toner as well, Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causeing this problem.
This is a typical print (supply status sheet), and it only affects color printing

Hi tbennett689
Hope you are doing well and welcome to the community,
You HP Laserjet CP3505n Printer is a commercial product. I will suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support as well for even a better chance at finding a prompt solution.
You may find the commercial Laserjet board here. http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-LaserJet/bd-
Best of luck;
