I only want to use my printer for B & W (and not replace the color cartridges), however this means that when the color levels are low I get error messages on the printer every time i turn it on and every time i print. I am able to scroll through them and hit ok to proceed, but it's very annoying. Is there a way to change some settings or somethign to make it only check black in levels?
Thanks very much
Ben

HI,
No that is not possible as far as I know,
furthermore its also not something you want to do as this printer is desiged to give highquality color prints and not just black and white. If you leave empty cartridges in the printer to long and the printhead dry's out, the printer is broken. Making the printer useless.
