Will the hp 1050 all-in-one work with only one cartridge?
Can I print in BandW with the Triolor cartridge? How?
Thanks.

You can print with a single cartridge by removing one of the cartridges.
You can exit single cartridge mode by reinserting the second cartridge.
This can be found on page 31 of the manual.
If you are wanting to print in Black and White, removing the color cartridge will accomplish this.
You can print black with a color cartridge. The printer will combine the three colors together to achieve black ink. The black ink may not look as dark as they would with a black ink cartridge.
Page 13 also has a note regarding printing in black and white only.
However, the steps to set it in grayscale with black ink only in the computer will vary from system to system.
What operating system does the computer use?
