hp deskjet 1051

i have replaced my ink cartiages and when i go to print a test page it says the color is either damage or has failed. i have replaced 3 times and keep getting the same error. how do i fix this so i can print

Hi Jodyr16,

 

Sorry for the frustrating problem. You might try some of the steps from this document. Since you've tried reseating the cartridges already, you could probably skip down a bit.

 

I would try Step 4 first (to reset the printer) and then, if that doesn't work, you could try cleaning the contacts (Step 3).
