hp officejet j6400 series will not accept my refilled colour cartridge how do I fix it

Ya like I said I have an hp officejet j6400 series and it will not accept my refilled colour cartridge. I'm not sure what to do to fix this problem if any one has any suggestions it would be very much appreciated

Hi, so when you say it won't accept the cartridge, is it showing a particular error msg? Any luck if you clean the cartridge contacts? (sometimes if there's some debris there it can prevent a good connection with the printer)

 

Note that the quality & reliability of refills isn't always as good as originals...
