i have an officejet 7700, one i got an error message that the cartage had expired. does this when you buy a ink you have to  watch the expiration on it or can you use and dated cartridge.

Hi,

 

The date is a warrenty date, and is normally set two year after production. So it always a good thing to check before bying that the date is at least 6 months in the future.
