my hp officejet 4500 is having a tri-color cartridge problem

how can i fix an error that is showing on my printer

  i have  a hp 4500 officejet

and the screen is showing ( tri -color  cartridge problem ) refer to device documention to troubleshoot

can anyone help please

I'd recommend first checking your ink levels to see if they are nominal.

 

If the prniter is showing that there is plenty of ink, I would try removing the cartridges and reinserting them. If you need help with that operation here is a link with some instructions:
