pigment or Dye ink

Using a Photosmart Plus B209a with 564 HP ink

Does anyone know are these dye or pigment ink cartridges? (im guessing they're dye)

If they're dye, do you know if pigment ink cartridges are available for this model

The black cartridge is pigment, the others are dye based.  There are no HP pigment inks available for color for these printers.

 

What exactly is the issue you are trying to address by using pigmented inks?  When printing on suitable paper HP inks used in the 564 have pretty respectable lightfastness.

Dear Bob, thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to answer my question.

Im after pigment inks becuase the inks need to be waterproof (im using them in an art project).
