HP photosmart 5514

Windows 7

no error shown in window, acts like it is printing fine, just no black ink appears on the paper.

I just replaced the black ink cartridge with the correct HP product, installation went ok.

Hi

Have you checked the cartridge is vented properly? Have you tried running a printhead clean?

 

If a vent is clogged, clean it carefully with a pin.

Thanks for the help.  I now have black ink working fine.  It needed cleaning I guess. Thanks again.
