Using an HP Photosmart Premium e-ALL-IN-ONE C410e printer, I have gone through the original ink cartridges with no issues. I got warnings that ink was low and bought HP 564XL cartridges and installed as per instructions. Now the output only seems to print the color inks, but not the black. After trying the help which indicated to try pulling the plug for 30 seconds and then plugging back in, I got about 2 pages of splotchy output and then blank pages again. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

I resolved this by buying another black ink cartridge. Guess I got ripped off on my previous purchase. Both were HP ink cartridges from the same store.

Wow, this is happening to me right now! I sure hate to have to break into a new cartridge, but if that's what it takes . . . . It is a rip off, isn't it?

OK, I followed someone else's suggestion and cleaned the printheads. It worked! The black is now printing, although I'll have to replace the other colors soon. If you haven't tried cleaning the printheads, maybe you should to see if that works.
