two sided printing problem

Deskjet 6980. One-sided printing is no problem. Two sided the printing in black has a problem in the alignment. The printer every now and than does not print the top side of letters en leaves out  the beginning of some sentences.

Hello RobertoR,

Sorry to tell you that the program you sent does not work on the 6980 series, **bleep**. XP is indeed the operating system I am working with. do you have other options?
