To try to resolve the 0xc19a0023 message, try the steps in the following document Doc c01458034
If this doesn't resolve the issue - and the printhead is still within warranty - then contact phone support for a replacement. To check if the printhead is in warranty, refer to this page
If the printhead is out of warranty, see the link at the top of this page to purchase one online.

I went through all the same machinations you did, to no avail either. Then, out of frustration, I used a "static free" wipe (that smelled of alcohol) on both the printhead contacts and the contacts in the carriage. The printer then went through a six minute preparation and now works fine. Who knew, alcohol cured it!

I have did all t6he cleaning that was necessary and ended up with message: Please turn printer Off and then On. Did so
more than once and no change. Also unplugged it and tried again with no change and same error message. Help.

I am going through this for the second time. For some unknown reason it cleared up the first time after spending hours with HP tech support and getting nowhere. When I tried to purchase a print head through the store HP told me there was no such thing and became very beligerant.
This printer is a piece of junk. Never again will I buy an HP product....no printer, no computer nothing. Nohting but trouble.
