HP Deskjet 2548

Previously working OK.   Now HP Deskjet printer 2548 - message says printer offline and can't get back on.   Have tried re-installing CD, nothing appears, have tried using USB to printer, no screen appears.   The printer's on off button is in dimmed mode, when pressed, it lights up, I have to then also press the wif-fi blue blink button and it will stay blinking for a few minutes, then switches off and also the power button is dimmed. How can I get it back on line?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting printer offline error message through the wireless connection.

I would like to help you resolve this issue.

  • Set the default printer and unpause printing
  • Reset the printer and check the connection status
  • Create a manual connection.
  • Add a second printer device to Windows.
  • Reinstall the printer using HP Printer Assistant.

Thank you for reply.   I managed to resolve problem before I received your message.  After trying many things, including trying to re-install via origional CD - I then unistalled the printer and re-installed using HP download for Windows 10.
