Envy 4502 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Envy 4520 inkjet make a high pitch load squeal or skweek noise when lid is lifted up and this is lid that exposes the ink cartridges, not the scanning lid and the same goes whe you start to print and the printer starts to bootup.

Hi @NiteLife,

Good to hear from you again. I remember you from the computer issues back in March.
Thanks for being a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with the printer making loud noises when opening to the ink area or turn on the printer. I will be glad to help you.

Are there any error messages on the printer?

Do you hear the sound when making a copy?

Please get back to me so I can continue to help you.

I get no error messages on the printer control window but it does make the noise when the printer starts to print with a little less noise after about 10% into the printing job but the amount of sound that it gives of is a bit more then it should'at lease that is what I think?
