Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I have had my printer for a few months and usually have no problem printing. Over the last day, I have not been able to print. When I send it to the printer after several minutes, it says printer not responding. I tried again later and it started printing, however it stops in the middle. The pages are also only half printed. 

 

I looked on the website to use the scanner, but I can not because I have a IOS MAC El Capitan. What can I do to fix this?

Unfortunately, it only worked that time. When I tried to print again. I am still having the same problem with my printer

Can you describe your printer set-up?

router make + (firmware #)

How far from the router is the printer?

I have an AT&T U verse router and it is only about feet away

The recommended distance between the printer and the router is 3 ft to 5 ft.

Ok, I have never had a problem before, and our PC prints just fine at that distance. I only have the problem when I print from my Mac. Also, when following the last tips you gave me, it also worked fine when I printed from that distance.
