HP Officejet 4500 wireless
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer, scanner, fax machine. A few days ago I attempted to print a recipe from my desk top, my printer was on everythings working or so I thought.

My computer prompt OFFLINE... so I proceded to check all the connections , unplugged , plugged in , checked the settings and it said OFFLINE. I am at my wits end .

Can someone please help me,  many, many thanks in advance ......

Sincerely,

Keaau

Hi,

Thanks for using the forum.

Could you try the following:

1.  Go to Control Panel

2.  Right click on your printer and select "See what's printing"

3.  It will bring up your printer dialog box, click on "Printer" and see if "Use Printer Offline" is checked?

4. If it is checked, uncheck it!  (see the example below)

Hope that resolves your problem.
