HP Officejet Pro 8500
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Printer was only printing partial page of multi page document. Replace printer cartridges. Ran HP diagnostic and cleaned printheads. Still no change. Now only priting small amount of test page in pink only. Have also removed & re-inserted cartridges. Have restarted printer several times. Please advise.

The HP Forums is a great place to find answers to questions/issues you may have, welcome! I see you are running into some print quality issues when printing to your HP Officejet 8500. It is printing partial pages and in pink only. You have performed troubleshooting steps with no success.

 

1. When you performed the cleaning and printed the test page, did you see all colors on the page or is it only pink as well? 

 

2. Are you able to make a black Copy?

 

3. When you upgraded to Windows 10 did you update the software and drivers for the OJ 8500 as well?

 

What did the HP Print and Scan Doctor find? I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you HevnLgh for your time and advice.

 

HP scan doc showed no issues.

 

However, Forgot the cardinal rule of "when in doubt, unplug."

Found google entry that suggested checking all computer cords and then restarting computer.

SUCCESS - the printer works fine now.

 

With your advice,  I will go and update my drivers, etc since I had not done since upgrading to Windows 10.
