Normally, I shut off the printer and if you couldn't cancel the print job out of the printer properties window, then just restart your PC and see if that clears it.
Then turn your printer back on.

Click on "Start"
Select "Devices and Printers"
Right click your active printer (Will have a green check beside it)
Select "See What Printing"
A "Pop Up Window" will appear
Make sure the document you want to remove or delete from the print que is highlighted
Place "Mouse Pointer" on "Document" in the "Pop Up Window"
Place "Mouse Pointer" on "cancel" and left click

I have had the same problem with my 7500A. That mouse thing doesn't work... I had a very large file to print and the printer simply hangs... I had to Ctrl-Alt-Del in order to shut down the computer - nothing from the windows screens would clear the buffers.

I have the same problem as renchic: the printer continues to try to (mis)print a failed document.
The document does NOT show up in the Windows printer queue. I tried "Cancel" anyway and it does nothing.
Powering off and unplugging the printer does NOT work, the printer boots back up and resumes printing.
The printer is printing jibberish and bits of graphics at the top of each page -- about 15 sheets so far.
Here is a url to help delete the jobs that are stuck in the queue by downloading and running the Print and Scan Doctor.
If you need more assistance just let me know.
