How do I change my wireless password on my HP Printer?

Help!  I recently changed the password for my wireless router via my laptop computer. So of course I had to change it on my IPod and IPad and had no problems with that.  Now I am now discovering I must also need to change it on my HP Photosmart C4780 wireless printer.  I have no idea how to do that.  Can anyone help please?  I am running Vista Home Premium operating system.  Thanks.

There is an easy way and a hard way.  It depends on your router.  What router brand/model?

Re: How do I change my wireless password on my HP Printer?

Hey, so I know this pot is old but  I am having the exact same problem. I have a Mac OS X running on 10.5.8 and I can't find the USB to reset the printer's wireless connection. I am using a Version Fios router, which I changed the WEB password to recently and now I cannot connect to the printer. If there is a way to fix this without having to re-setup the printer to the computer, please let me know. Thanks!

Download the manual from the HP web site and start reading on Page 6 for wireless connection.

I worked for HP but now I'm retired!

Printer Hint #1 - Always buy a printer with a display panel for configuration.
Printer Hint #2 - Always buy a printer with separate black and separate color cartridges.
Printer Hint #3 - Always buy a wireless printer with an Ethernet port for backup.
