How do I  get my officejet 6700 Premium to print double sided and switch it off to print single sided?

My HP Officejet 6700 Premium printed for several months on both sides until one day a virus entered. After its removal I could no longer print on both sides.

 

Now - what is the true story as I would like very much to have this feature working again .
