Hi,

☑️ To reverse an image for iron-on transfers
1. On the File menu in your software application, click Print.
2. Make sure the product is the selected printer.
3. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box.
Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties,
Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences.
4. Click the Features tab.
5. In the Paper Type drop-down list, click More, and then select HP Iron-on Transfer
from the list.
6. If the selected size is not what you want, click an appropriate size in the Size list.
7. Click the Advanced tab.
8. In the Features area, select the Mirror Image check box.
9. Click OK, and then click Print or OK in the Print dialog box.

Using PowerPoint to print a reverse image:

1. Use the printer to scan the image to your computer as a .jpg file

2. Open PowerPoint (PowerPoint comes with the microsoft office suite)

3. Select  Insert from the top menu bar

4. Browse to your image, and then click Insert

5. The Image will show in your PowerPoint file

6. Under the FORMAT tab select the Rotate Option

7. From the dropdown menu select  Flip Horizontally

8. Print this image to plain paper to be sure it is what you want before using the transparency paper

Im sure there are other software packages out there that can flip an image for you.  This is just what I have on my home computer, and it worked pretty well for me.

Good Luck!

Hi - Not sure what software or what printer you're using, but in some cases the software has an option to flip horizontal.  For example, Paint (the app that comes with Windows) has an option to flip horizontal which should achieve the same thing.  You might try taking the image into Paint and printing.

Hope that helps.

Hello there,

I noticed that there is a Deskjet and and Officejet with the 5740 model number, so in case your print driver does not have mirror image or page flip settings options, you can use Paint to flip the image.

  1. Right-click the photo you are printing, then click Paint from the Open with menu.

  2. On the Home menu, click Rotate, then click Flip horizontal to create the mirror image.
