Product: OfficeJet 4650
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I scan to the computer from the control panel the result always goes into the Documents directory.  Several forum entries talk about setting the designation in the scan dialogs, but in the software the only thing which can be set is "local or network folder".  Changnig the save location of a scan does not affect future scans.  The driver version is 36.0.72.54013.

Just select More/Destination/Save to Folder.
