Deskjet 1050
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I've been using my Hp deskjet 1050 in single cartridge mode for quite sometime but lately it has been behaving erratically. The tricolor light is blinking continously and it is not letting the printer to print or to xerox anything. Even though there is no color cartridge in the printer, whenever it is plugged to the laptop there is a message saying that either the tricolor cartridge is damaged or not working. Have tried everything in the hardware: cleaning the contact points where the cartridge touches etc. Please help.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you try this self help document:

Also, have you tried changing the cartridges?

Thanks.
