macOS 10.12 Sierra

I am trying to help my mom who lives far away from me. She upgraded OS to Sierra today and can't get her HP5746 to work. Apple helped her delete printer or it was deleted but now she can't reinstall. She tried to reinstall the printer driver but is unable to do so. PLease advise

Thanks for engaging in the HP Forums! I see by your post that you are unable to install the printer after updating to Sierra. I will certainly do my best to help you.

 

I checked the website and there aren't any Sierra drivers available at this time.

 

You could try the installing the printer by the Apple Updates or the 10.11 drivers: HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.

 

How is the printer connected?
