We have a client who've just installed an MFP M725 for which we have set up the scan to folder option - their old machine used to scan to TIFF format and would scan multiple pages as one file, is there a way to get the new HP device to do this? Is it as simple as scanning to PDF rather than TIFF?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

HI, yes it is pretty simple.

While scanning please select the file type as PDF and use ADF for scan. All the pages will be scanned to 1 single file.

We have the same issue.

Defaulting the scan to network document type to PDF is NOT an option for us.

Our Document Management System requires multipage TIFFs.

So how do we do that on the MFP? We just got 20 new MFPs -  a mix of M775, M725, M880, and M630.

Found it.  Set filetype as MTIFF not TIFF.

Might be something nice to put in the documentation, HP.

I used ADF for feeding multiple documents into one file and that works, but what if I have different size documents that have to go in one file? I need to scan them from the glass table top. Can I still get all docs in one file? I was able to do this with other HP scanners using HP Solution without a problem. Although HPS does not recognize my MFP M275. Any suggestions?
