Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Yesterday my 8610 said there was something wrong with the Yellow ink cartridge and to replace it. After buying a new cartridge, I opened the door to replace it but the carriage is stuck in the docked position and won't move to the left. When I open the door the message changes to say that you can't print with the door open. Closing the door goes back to the cartridge complaint message. I cannot access any of the menus to do a reset. Pressing the "return" button 3, 4, or 5 times has no effect. I have tried the proscribed reset methods of removing power while on, wait 60 secs, plug into wall outlet only, etc., etc. The only thing I can get the printer to do is display all 3 panel symbols (home, question mark, return) by holding down the power button until the white lite next to it comes on & then releasing it. Is there a keypress sequence that will complete a reset from this point?
