Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Keeps loosing connection and wont print while connected with USB. Hp Utility says its Idle, and Supplies Good. Says Printing - waiting for printer to become available. OR Printer is offline. This often happens immediatly after a successful print job. I do not understand. I already was on the phone with support and made sure I have the correct software for my OS. Mac 10.11.6. Please help.

@Wildcard14

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer and the printer often stops printing. The printer appears to be offline. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • Did any updates take place after which the printer stopped printing?
  • Did you try to reinstall the printer drivers?

Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the steps to reset the printing system in Mac: http://hp.care/2jxPdMX

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted. All the best! 🙂
